Supremely Corporate
As America flails ever closer to becoming an all-out corporate controlled polity, it's perhaps inevitable that a corporation will try to run for congress.
Older generations used to amuse themselves with stories about dogs and dead people being allowed to cast ballots; this seems to be an equivalent trope for these pre-apocalyptic millenial generation.
In the next few days, we'll probably hear about a number of similar situations. If nothing else, it will be great publicity for these firms.
Unlike the small-scale and laughable mishaps of the voting dogs, this is a sinister and disturbing reminder of how far the American system of "democracy" has become corrupted and divorced from its original intent.
