Having outgrown their existing website, Flicks approached Pixel Fusion with the goal of rebuilding the architecture of their site and implementing a new visual design. They were also looking to expand their offerings to supply content to other cinema websites. I based the entire system on a RESTful JSON API and developed a custom CMS interface tailor made for the unique requirements of publishing videos, cinema session times, and daily film industry news. This development has enabled Flicks.co.nz to grow from being a niche website to become the central hub for movie and cinema information in New Zealand.
