Plotting Deviations

Well, now the election's over, and there's not much left to do but wait til the coalition is announced (and perhaps look at some visualizations of the results), I have a bit of personal news to relay...

As of this week, I'm no longer working at Shift, and aside from teaching some classes at Massey, I'll be working in the Elvis Research Group at Victoria for the next few weeks, focusing on various things related to program geometry, object oriented design, and visual languages.

This might spell good news for some of the open source projects I'm working on, but then again, it might not. I'm having to jump straight in the deep end and the Java analysis I am starting on will be an incredibly steep learning curve, one I hope leads in the creative direction that I'm most interested in.

Right now, I'm going through the process of meshing various web services and wikis together, so that I can finally enable this site as the synchronized hub of my distributed research and writing. But for now, there is just the .plan. Tena kotou katoa.
