MCS Week of Code

This week I've got an interesting side project, working as a mentor with a group of MCS students who are learning agile methods the useful way - by actually working on a real project. Our team has been given the task of building a Facebook application to add geographic location features to user profiles. The project is going well so far - we've got a prototype up and running (playing on the "Stalkbook" theme), and we're now looking at ways of integrating user added content to the locations. It promises to be a potentially useful and exciting tool to play with - certainly a lot more interesting in the sense of building an identity than poking or biting people.
