Making Aotearoa New Zealand's Government Transparent

KiwiMP is an open source project aimed at opening up the information available about New Zealand's government and political processes:

For all its faults and foibles, our democracy is a profound gift from previous generations. Yet most people don't know what parties and MPs do or say in their name. We aim to help bridge this democratic disconnect, in the belief that there is little wrong with Parliament that a healthy mixture of transparency and public engagement won't fix.

Rob has started with a Greasemonkey script that augments the NZ Hansard... there's also the beginnings of an interesting looking topic mapping experiment.
