But it's not... Yet the author of this new RSS 3 spec has made a more-than-insignificant oversight: he's missed the fact that RSS 3 already exists and it's a f**king joke... Aaron Swartz certainly made this point clear. I didn't think anyone would try to take this sorry saga any further, but I was wrong. So will we have yet another Ridiculously Stupid Standard? I'm not so sure. A cease and desist notice has already been served.

On a more reflexive note, I've been finding this whole syndication format meme wars thing so confusing and pointless, that I've decided not to support any flavours of RSS apart from 1.0 (RDF) on this site.
